We loved working within the concept framework that Jessica and Joe had for their  Murphy Auditorium Wedding.  Jessica loved anything “Paris flea market” so we pulled in a light airy concept with their floral, and accented with vintage details, textural linens and some black and white stripes that popped on our soft base palette of blush (we promised Joe… Only a little bit of pink!).

The vintage elements included seating assignments displayed on a collection of old windows and a meticulously assembled collection of crochet doilies in place of show plates at each guest place setting. Adding some toile pattern linen to the cake table and table numbers was the perfect finishing touch. Their dessert display featured French macaroons and black and white cookies with a heartfelt quote.  We loved the “dueling charcuterie displays” at cocktail hour as well – there is a fierce but friendly NYC/Chicago rivalry between these 2 families!
