Harold Washington Library Wedding

Where do I start with all my favorite details and moments from Chelsea and Sean’s wedding day?  Was it the European market inspired design of the ambiance and décor?  The literary quote hand painted onto their custom aisle runner?  The cake in the shape of a lemon tree (or the groom’s cake in the shape of an octopus!)?  The entirely vegetarian stations menu?  The stationery featuring architectural inspiration from the Harold Washington Library where they were married?  The single sunflower (the bride’s favorite) on every place setting?  The market wrapped flowers that each guest was gifted with upon departure? This is easily one of the best times I’ve ever had designing a wedding – I think you will agree it was quite spectacular.  But when all is said and done, my very favorite detail of the day was the giant smiles that never slipped off the faces of these childhood sweethearts through the planning process and on the day of the wedding – what a beautiful couple!
