The Trump Hotel
Romantic Elegance was the overall theme for Laura and Lu’s big day at the Trump Hotel and Towers Chicago. December weddings can have an even more “romantic” feel due to the season, and the couple wanted to capture the feeling of being warm and cozy on a cold winter’s day.
The bride and groom wanted to stay “traditional” in their décor – but that doesn’t mean BORING!!!! Tall glass cylinders with white floral kept a classic and timeless feel, and the tall cylinders grounded the look with a clean modern edge that complimented the Grand Ballroom in the hotel. The grey pin tuck linens mimicked the bridesmaid dresses and softened the room, and there were at least 6 candles per table for that feel of warmth and romance. Nothing is better in the winter than flickering candlelight!
Purple was the bride’s favorite color – but she didn’t want a “purple” wedding… Soft touches of violet were utilized in the bridal bouquets, as well as on some of the print goods. Drawing a touch of color into the reception – LOLA added 1 purple wine goblet and a purple napkin to each place setting making the accent even that much more special and impactful.
