Growing up, it was clear I was destined to work in weddings. I watched every bridal show on TLC, and every episode of Say Yes to the Dress. I knew I wanted to work in fashion, so I attended the Fashion Institute of Technology for fashion business management. I applied for an internship at Kleinfeld Bridal, and it was incredible to get a taste of helping someone make their wedding dreams come true (and yes, Randy is as nice as he is on TV!). A consultant there told me, “Once you enter the wedding industry, you’re in it for life,” and I knew that was true for me.
I came back to the Chicagoland area and worked in various bridal boutiques; I loved helping brides find their dream dresses, but I found myself wishing I could be there for their big day. Putting together plans and details into an event tailored to a couple is my passion. My feet may be numb at the end of the day, but my mind is energized, and my heart is full. You’ll find me tearing up several times during your wedding, I can’t help it!
My full-time job is in project management, so creating an organized timeline is my bread and butter. I pride myself on anticipating your needs and potential problems, so I have solutions ready. My goal is always to worry about the little details so you can focus on having fun!
Some fun facts about me:
“Rosie helped me plan my wedding and I couldn’t have done it without her! I had no clue where to start and I find the details of event planning overwhelming, but she helped me choose vendors and create a timeline in a way that I was a part of every decision, but I wasn’t overwhelmed. Our wedding was destination, and it required more planning than I expected, and all the details worked out and it was perfectly suited for my husband and I. I highly recommend trusting Rosie for your next event!”
