Melissa and Brian’s long-awaited Elegant Loft wedding at Rockwell on the River was every dream come true. Originally scheduled for October 2020, Melissa and Brian finally tied the knot in June of 2021.
The day started at the iconic Ambassador Hotel. Bianca Sansosti Artistry’s team glammed up the wedding party while the groomsmen all gathered in Brian’s room. The bride and groom had their first look on their private terrace and were then joined by their immediate family for a moment of prayer. They then made their way downstairs for the first look with everyone’s favorite guest, their pup, Auggie! He ALMOST stole the show!
The wedding party ventured around the city with photographer extraordinaire Amanda Megan Miller, before heading to Rockwell on the River. Tears were rolling as the couple said ‘I do’- the café lights strung across the room so perfectly amplified the love that filled the room. The couple stopped to toast their guests that Smiling toad shared the day with via live stream.
Guests moved out to the riverfront terrace to enjoy custom cocktails and delicious bites while the teams from Butter and Vine, Flowers for Dreams, and MaryMonica Music flipped the room into a romantic reception space. Toasts from the best man and maid of honor brought the biggest smiles to every single face in the room while they enjoyed an impeccable cake from Flourish Cake Design. Melissa and Brian Danced to John Mayer’s cover of XO before guests filled the dance floor. As this was one of the first event guests had attended in over a year and a half, they hit the dance floor and never left! It was the best celebration for the best couple!
