Ellie and Ross’s Wedding at Greenhouse Loft was a magical day. The bride and groom lived in the Logan Square neighborhood and after a short venue search, landed on Greenhouse Loft for their spring nuptials. From that point on, everything fell into place. Their design was one of the highlights of the planning process. Considering the spring season, their floral color palette included dusty blues, soft pinks, ivory, and shades of green. One important component to the floral was including as much olive branch as possible to honor the bride’s Greek heritage. The escort card table centerpiece was an elevated design composed solely of olive branches. It was a beautiful statement piece as guests looked for their table assignments. Olive branches were also tucked into each guest’s napkin. Besides having actual olive branches in the décor, they were also used for the invitation suite and day-of paper goods. It was a wonderful way to tie everything together.
It is always amazing to see over a year’s worth of planning come together. Ellie & Ross’ zest for life was really put on display in all parts of their wedding. From getting ready in the neighborhood at The Robey, to the sweet ceremony, to the cocktail hour, which featured mini tacos and margarita shooters, to the décor, the toasts, and all the way to the late night snacks. This evening could not have been a more picture perfect day for these two and it was so fun to be a part of it all. The day also served as a send off for Ellie and Ross as they moved to the East Coast soon after to begin the next chapter of their lives. There was a lot to cheers to on their wedding day!
