This South Asian Wedding at Ravenswood Event Center is one for the books. As a wedding planner in Chicago, we LOVE when clients want to do something really different. Sirisha and Ladd wanted a modern, chic, colorful wedding that incorporated the bride’s Indian culture with their mutual preference for a more whimsical and non-traditional western reception. The Showroom at the Ravenswood Event Center was the perfect backdrop for this fun party. I’ve even forgiven the clients for making me order photo booth props from The Ohio State bookstore! (That was pretty hard for this loyal UW Badger). They even had their favorite late night pizza food truck drive up from Columbus, OH to surprise guests as they departed the party.
