Planning this glam wedding at Cafe Brauer with Emily and Bryan was some of the most fun I’ve had thus far as a planner. Their personalities brighten up a room when they enter, and their families sure know how to make you feel like one of their own! I love when I’m able to turn clients into friends!

The day started at the Westin River North where Emily prepped with her gals. The team from Tamara Makeup and Hair Artistry made our already stunning bride sparkle a little brighter along with the rest of her bridesmaids, sisters, and moms.  The bridesmaids slipped into their champagne dresses from Bella Bridesmaids, and then it was Emily’s turn to complete her look with a stunning Stella York gown. Final touches of jewelry, hankies, and a few happy tears completed the look! The men were dapper in their tuxes from the Black Tux.

Once everyone was set and ready, the men and ladies, separately, finally made their way to take a few moments in front of the photo and video lenses. Our team of TimTab Studios and Carrot Wedding Films captured the day perfectly! Once photos were done, we made our way to Holy Name Cathedral so Bryan and Emily could finally see each other and get ready to say their “I Dos!”

Vows were read and the rings were exchanged, then the crew made their way over to Lincoln Park Zoo for a few photos while the finishing touches to Café Brauer were being complete. The room sparkled and shined in gorgeous ivory, blush, and gold tones. The team at HMR outdid themselves with lush florals, and their design was elevated by stunning lighting and chandeliers from Frost Chicago. The linens from BBJ Linen made the design and were the perfect backdrop for our elegant centerpieces.

It was time for guests to find their seats and munch on some charcuterie from Blue Plate Catering, while the wedding party made their way to the head table, and Emily and Bryan cut into their gold, ombre cake from ECBG. Let me tell you – the combination of funfetti cake and cookies and cream filling was NOT a mistake! After the formalities of toasts and dinner concluded, the dance floor was open to guests to enjoy the beats of DJ Dustin from Toast and Jam. There was not a moment of the night where the dance floor wasn’t packed. It was a great day had by all at this glam wedding at Cafe Brauer!
