This was our first South Asian Wedding at The Morton Arboretum and it will be one we won’t soon forget! Neha and Arvind are one word – Amazing- just like their incredible venue. From their personalities all the way down to their design style, they know what they want, and it’s usually right on the mark. Neha came to me with the vision of combining cultural elements of a traditional, South Asian wedding in a fun, modern and western way to represent her life here, in America. Instead of a traditional South Asian color pallet of reds and golds, we played up colors of hot pink, blush, orange and turquoise. We tied these all together with the lush grounds of the arboretum to incorporate fun pops of Bells of Ireland – a whispy and magical greenery that seems to have a life of it’s own!
