When Alyssa and Trey described their vision as “Midnight in Paris on Ponce,” we knew we were in for a celebration that would feel more cinematic than traditional — equal parts moody, romantic, and undeniably chic. Their wedding day at Salvage One in Chicago was the perfect canvas for our LOLA Event Productions team to bring that vision to life. As a Chicago wedding planning and design team, we love a couple with a clear aesthetic and a willingness to lean into the unexpected — and Alyssa and Trey did exactly that.

The setting was quintessentially Salvage One — eclectic, soulful, and full of character. But with the help of Kehoe Designs, the space took on an entirely new persona for the evening. Think deep jewel tones, antique gold accents, and lush textures that transformed the venue into a moody Parisian dreamscape. The lighting and drapery by Black Oak Tech layered in even more dimension and drama, amplifying every corner with a warm, sultry glow that perfectly suited a late-summer Chicago wedding.

Guests were immediately immersed in the experience — greeted by a custom shelf of petite glass perfume bottles, each filled with a custom scent designed by the couple. These bespoke creations doubled as escort cards and favors, offering guests a sensory keepsake that perfectly captured Alyssa and Trey’s thoughtful, creative approach to wedding design. Every detail, from the carefully curated florals to the candlelit dinner by Entertaining Company, was designed to engage the senses and tell a story of intimacy and intrigue.

The evening unfolded seamlessly — live music from Gold Coast All Stars kept the energy high, while sweet treats from Vanille Chicago and cocktails from Entertaining Company ensured guests were never without a reason to smile (or dance). From the bride’s Kim Kassa Couture gown from Mira Couture to the groom’s classic Tom Ford ensemble, Alyssa and Trey were the picture of timeless sophistication — with just the right touch of that “midnight magic” we’ll be dreaming about for a long time to come.
