Alana and Ben’s Modern Classic Wedding at Chicago Illuminating Company was the most romantic night. The first time I spoke with the couple, they mentioned wanting the day to feel timeless, but still current. I think we nailed it. The teams from Frost and HMR helped transform the tent at Chicago Illuminating Company into a magical moody wedding.
The day kicked off with the bride and groom gathering respectively with their wedding parties. The team at Bianca Sansosti Beauty made the bride and her friends glow. After going around the city for photos (Where a fence may or may not have been jumped to get the perfect shot!) everyone headed over to the venue to enjoy pre-ceremony cocktails.
The ceremony started just before sundown, and Alana and Ben said their vows in a glowing tent in a ceremony in the round, meaning their friends and family were surrounding them. Cocktails took place inside of the illuminating company, while the tent was transformed into a dinner under the stars. The team at BOKA Catering served an incredible meal.
After Dinner, the Chicago Players filled the dance floor! High Minded Events served up a cannabis bar complete with custom wedding blends that the guests enjoyed throughout the night. Thanks to Averyhouse for capturing the beautiful day!
